My great room
needed to be painted and so I got this wall painted with an underwater
seascape.
Above, you can see the artist working
on the mural. If you click the thumbnail to the left you will see the
final product. The television is showing the Tampa Bay Lightning winning
the Stanley Cup.
Here is a close up of me swimming out
from behind a cluster of tube sponges. Most of the mural was painted
from pictures from my dive trips. This part came from a picture of me in
Belize in 1999.
If you look at the bottom of the
shelf, it looks like the surface of the ocean as it would appear from
under the water. I like the detail she thought of.
Here is section that has a queen angel
fish, green sea turtle and Moorish idol. These came from pictures I took
in Hawaii, Cayman Islands and Roatan.
This area of the wall shows a spotted
eagle ray and a large gray reef shark. These were from Cozumel and the
Bahamas.
This area shows some interesting coral
formations and a clown fish (Nemo) poking out of a sea anemity. These
pictures came from Bonaire, the Keys, and Australia (Nemo).
