My favorite ski resort in the east is Snowshoe in West Virginia

heat.jpg (44361 bytes) When I travel in WV in the winter, I always try to find a hotel that has heat. As you can see when you blow up this picture, this hotel does offer heat in the rooms.

My favorite place to stay in West Virginia is The Greenbrier. I first visited the resort when I was 6 months old. It just so happens that the West Virginia Veterinary Medical Association is meeting there this weekend and I will be there.

Kim and I went up to West Virginia in 2014 for my nephew's wedding. Here we are at Cooper's Rock overlook. I used to live a couple of miles from this place.
