Downhill Skiing Skiing is one of my favorite sports. Most of my skiing has been in West Virginia. My favorite place to ski in the east is Snowshoe. Good intermediate and expert trails and the longest vertical drop east of the Mississippi. Skiing at Taos is great. Hit it at the best part of the season two years ago.
